I was Updating from Ubuntu 8.04 to Ubuntu 8.10 and the system sent the message, but the equipmen looks working normally, the reason could be because I have an Multifuntional Epson TX300F an for that, I have downloaded the cups-driver-gutenprint 5.2.0~rc1 from www.linuxprinting.org, and maybe the updating program couldn't find it
