Looks like the new hide method of Unity pushes the window off the page, noticed this while typing a long command and the cursor went off the screen.

I had to change the width option in /usr/lib/guake.py to 96.2 on my 1280x800 screen in order to make the right border appear. (on my 1366x720 screen the value was 96.5). On my 1680x1050 monitor, everything is fine.

It is a bit annoying (when using a touchpad a scrollbar is nice as there is no mousewheel and the touchpad's emulation most often a pain in the a** )- it took me some time to find out

I'm on 12.04 x86_64

Bingo.

line 817 of /usr/lib/guake/guake.py

change from:
width = 100

to:
width = 96.2

works great here on 1280 width

Awesome work :-)

With panel size 40 and 1280x800 res you can keep it at 100 and it's ok

It seems that the file structure has changed: is line 821 in /usr/guake. But now it is an overlay scrollbar that is only visible when you have more lines than visible (depending on on guakes height).

In Raring it appears you need to edit
/usr/bin/guake line 821

Set width to 95

Works here

Is it not possible to have an autoresize option? every window using python can resize itself to the unity screen, why not this one?
