option to have Guake at the bottom of the screen

Binary package hint: guake

That would be immensely handy because most window controls, bars etc. are obscured by the normal setup.

This was already reported at http://labs.alfaiati.net/guake/ticket/102 but does not seem to be implemented.

I manually edited my code just like that: http://labs.alfaiati.net/guake/attachment/ticket/102/0003-2010-03-25-added-ability-to-slide-from-bottom-or-top.patch

And it works fine (see attachment). The only problem is that the resizing bar is at the bottom, so you can only make it smaller.

Thank you for helping with making Ubuntu and Guake better by reporting this bug and the patch. I'm marking this bug as a Wishlist and setting the status to Triaged as it is already reported upstream.

We'll wait for the decision of the upstream developers, I don't think it's worth to divert from upstream for a relatively small feature for this small package that isn't installed by default.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. However, I am closing it because the bug has been fixed in upstream and is available in stable Ubuntu releases
