Bug Description

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
   1. Install Ubuntu 15.04 final
   2. Install Guake terminal to it.
      apt-get install guake
      ...
      Preparing to unpack .../guake_0.5.0-2_i386.deb ...
      Unpacking guake (0.5.0-2) ...
      ...

update-alternatives: using /usr/bin/guake to provide /usr/bin/x-terminal-emulator (x-terminal-emulator) in auto mode
      # ^ this is not expected behaviour.

EXPECTED RESULTS:
Guake installs as auxiliary terminal, user can use it on demand.
In previous versions of Ubuntu after Guake installation my main terminal remains gnome-terminal.

ACTUAL RESULTS:
Guake is selected as main terminal emulator.

FIX:
Choose gnome-terminal as main terminal manually with
   "sudo update-alternatives --config x-terminal-emulator".

NOTE:
This is not a good solution to make guake default x-terminal-emulator.
Please do not make guake default terminal in auto mode or ask user while installing.

We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to review all reported bugs in a timely manner. This bug was reported some time ago and there have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time.

Does anyone still see a problem in a currently supported version of Ubuntu as I cannot reproduce what was reported in Ubuntu 18.04? Please let us know if the bug still exists otherwise this report can be left to expire in approximately 60 days time.

Thank you for helping make Ubuntu better.
