Bug Description

Dear developers,

First I want to thank you for creating this magnificent piece of software guake.

I'd wish only for one more thing - there was a better visualisation which is your current tab. I'd like to be able to have active tab in a different color, like when you mouse over the tab it changes color; I'd like active tab to be more distinguishable than the non-active tabs...

You can see in the screenshot is hard to be recognized at a glance.

Thanks,
Nikolay

I write developers with no luck. I suspect we have to touch something in /usr/share/guake/guake.glade
hbox-tabs widget contain the tabs, but all of them.

Thank you very much Andew! I add a comment about this on https://github.com/Guake/guake/issues/170 :
Do you know how to just set to bold instead of changing color background? I'm not familiar with gtk related source code.

On Guake v0.4.4 the patch just add on /usr/bin/guake (just before bnt.show() on add_tab subroutine, line 1228):
bnt.modify_bg(gtk.STATE_ACTIVE, gtk.gdk.Color("#CEE0A6"))

Stibbons closed issued 170 and added 248: https://github.com/Guake/guake/issues/248 which is much more complete, but he doesn't know how to reflect the changes on Ubuntu package (not even PPA).

As mentioned above, the fix was released in 2014. Guake in Ubuntu 19.10 clearly shows which tab is active.

This feature request was implemented in upstream in 2014. Guake in Ubuntu 19.10 is nicely showing which tab is currently active.
