Bug Description
Binary package hint: gtranslator
The version currently shipped in Ubuntu 10.04 is outdated and presents a serious issue that prevents using gtranslator. Basically gtranslator 1.9.6 crashes when saving due to wrong internal behavior with PO file headers. The bug was fixed in version 1.9.7 (see bug #454940).
In addition, please note that gtranslator 1.9.x is a development version, providing features and bug fixes release after release, so should be sane provide the latest version available.
A list of changes applied recently are (note that 1.9.6 was relased on August 2009):
1.9.7: http://
1.9.8: http://
1.9.9: http://
1.9.10: http://
1.9.11: http://
Debian is currently providing version 1.9.9 in testing and 1.9.11 in unstable, so the update effort should be minimal.
