Bug Description

Gedit would be more useful as a lightweight IDE to develop web applications using the Grails framework - http://grails.org - if gtksourceview supported .groovy and .gsp file syntax. I found a set of language files here

http://henyoonline.blogspot.com/2008/07/setting-up-gedit-for-groovy-and-grails.html

which I would like to include in the package as a learning experience. I have worked on packaging issues like updating dependencies but have yet to actually have to patch something.

There is an upstream bug concerning groovy:

I'm going to provide upstream with the link and files.
