Bug Description

DISTRIB_ID=Ubuntu
DISTRIB_RELEASE=7.10
DISTRIB_CODENAME=gutsy
DISTRIB_DESCRIPTION="Ubuntu 7.10"

python language spec seems to be conflicting the Single and Double quoted strings with
Multiline Single and Double strings.

the error can be reproduced in a Pt-br environment installing scribes text editor, accessing
"Editor de cores" menu entry, and chosing python on tree view.
we can see two entries of

"Texto entre aspas simples"
and
"Texto entre aspas duplas"

the problem is solved by changing file atribute _name of tags <string> on lines 17 and 22 from original name to another one (any)
/usr/share/gtksourceview-1.0/language-specs/python.lang file

I not tested it in an another language environment.

Yes, the same error occurs with Hardy, and the same workarround solves the problem.

As we can see this is not a gtksourceview2 issue, it is a gtksourceview1.0 issue, and it's almost not used(I figured out that scribes uses gtksourceview1 by looking at source code), neither I use scribes anymore, when I get some time I will bot from a memory stick install the scribes and test it.
