Evolution doesn't understand CSS for background on HTML divs

Bug Description

Binary package hint: evolution

If an HTML e-mail portion contains a div with style="background:url(cid:xxxxx) #ddd", and an attachment with cid xxxxx, Evolution doesn't tie the two up. In fact, it fails to parse the style entirely, neither recognizing the background image nor the fallback colour specification. The image is instead treated as an attachment.

uname -a gives:

Linux acercs 2.6.27-9-generic #1 SMP Thu Nov 20 22:15:32 UTC 2008 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Evolution version: 2.24.3

Attached please find a sample e-mail. This has been tested to display correctly in another e-mail client. To test in Evolution, save the attachment to disk and then use File/Import (single file option) to import into your chosen folder, where you will be able to view it.

Please don't hesitate to ask if further information is needed.

Thanks for the report, it has been some time without any response or feedback in this bug report and we are wondering if this is still an issue for you with the latest release of Ubuntu the Natty Narwhal, May you please test with that version and comment back if you're still having or not the issue? Please have a look at http://www.ubuntu.com/download to know how to install that version. Thanks in advance.
