missing french translation

Bug Description

I get only the English translation in :
- desktop applications list
- menubar
- toolbar

However, I get a French localized message during the rescanning of cameras.

I don’t think this application is maintained upstrean anymore, after giving a quick look to https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/gphoto-translation and seeing that all of the latest posts are spam.
