Bug Description

It took me 2 hours to find out what the problem is. I reset Gnome desktop because I thought doing the good old dconf reset helps. Folks at Ubuntu - this kind of quality is just very annoying and unacceptable!

Now to the bug. This is Ubuntu 23.04. Updates up-to-date. The latest update of libgtk-4 from version 4.10.1 to 4.10.3 breaks nautilus' move-to-trash behavior and copying is broken too.

If you move a file to trash with libgtk-4.10.3 installed, the wrong icon is removed from the icon view.

Just watch the attached video to see the issue.

Yes, for me nautilus is completely broken, i'm using gnome-panel as desktop. As Johon says delete, copy, also select difrent files with control, is completely broken.

On the other side lot of regressions and lost of capabilities, like in tree mode to create a soft link changed, left buton on the bread crumb is gone and changed... no more paste inside a directory you are... lot of things makes this nautilus the worst ever,

Affects me as well. Cannot select multiple files in Detail view with CTRL. Shift still works for multiple files.

I can confirm that installing Nautilus 1:44.2.1-0ubuntu1 through Proposed solves the issue for me.
