Bug Description

Binary package hint: gtk2-engines-qtcurve

When in kde, after selecting the QtCurve theme using the kcm-gtk module, QtCurve does not use kde font settings for gtk2 applications. If other themes are selected the chosen font settings work.
Even in gnome, selecting the QtCurve theme, the font settings specified in the 'Appearance' dialog are not respected. All other themes work. Other people are having the same problem:

Ubuntu version is Karmic Koala alpha 4

The problem disappeared after I modified the KDE font settings.
My KDE font was Deja Vu Sans 8, when I changed it to Bitstream Vera Sans 8, GTK apps with Qtcurve had the correct font within KDE. Then I changed the font back to Deja Vu Sans 8 and still GTK apps with Qtcurve use the correct font.

For me, it helped to force DPI for fonts in KDE system settings --> appearance --> fonts! No the cute, small fonts are back!
