Bug Description

Binary package hint: gtk2-engines-murrine

The FLOSS game Freeciv comes with a custom gtk skin that is applied by default in this application only. This works ok with most gtk engines.

However, when using the Murrine as the global gtk engine, the skin on several widgets including but not limited to buttons and checkboxes are dropped and reverted back to the system default.

Affects the latest official Ubuntu package freeciv-client-gtk version 2.1.10-1, as well as the latest code from the S2_2 and S2_3 branches.

For screenshots and more details, see the relevant bug in the Freeciv bugtracker at http://gna.org/bugs/index.php?17124
