Bug Description

Binary package hint: gtk-qt-engine-kde4

If I set GTK Qt Engine to use Qt4 as default style for Gtk apps, it only shows the old set of colors for widgets and menus (Obsidian Coast, in my case) even after I switched to Oxygen. Restarting gtk apps, kdm and X did not solve it. I played with "Apply colors to non-KDE4 applications" in the Colors tab and re-applied the default KDE4 theme for Gtk apps many times, but the old set of colors persists. I also attached my ~/.kde4/share/config/gtkrc-2.0 and a snapshot for reference.

I found something interesting: when I run "switch2" to switch Gtk Theme, then set "Qt" and click on "Preview" it shows a test window made ENTIRELY of my old set of colors. I attached a screenshot to let you see it. Note: I've set "Raleigh" from systemsettings as my Gtk style.

I installed the gtk-engines-geramik package to test a bit more, and realized that Geramik too has got dark colors. I've set dark colors in my KDE3 session (Kore)... could it be that KDE3 and KDE4 colors were messed up? This things should not happen since kde4 and kde3 config files are in different folders in my home (.kde4 and .kde).

My ~/.gtkrc-2.0 pointed to ~/.gtkrc-2.0-kde instead of ~/.gtkrc-2.0-kde4.
