Bug Description
Just recently updated from 11.10 to 12.04 LTB Beta. I am also attempting to install Wireshark developer brank from their svn repo and have noticed that GTK+ is not being detected properly. I believe I have older GTK+ ~2.0 installed as well as the most recent GTK+ 3.0; however, the autogen.sh script in the Wireshark repo does not detect that a supported GTK+ is present. This bug seems to be persistent.
