Bug Description
Since upgrading to 16.04, I've been experiencing frequent difficulties resuming from suspend, causing text not to be displayed at all, or wrong characters to be displayed. Please see the attached screenshots.
I don't know what part of the system this lies in. It seems to affect all gtk apps at least. Chromium renders just fine when this happens, other than the titlebar. Similarly, Cool Retro Term renders correctly, which obviously doesn't use gtk, while Gnome Terminal and Guake do not.
This suggests it could be related to framebuffer corruption, but this report was made with a much earlier kernel, and I had no such problems under 15.10. http://
