Bug Description

I use Xubuntu 14.04.
When I try to set the application font to bold or italic, GTK+3 apps (e.g. Synaptic, Transmission) don't respect that, their font doesn't get bold or italic. They respect only the change of the font name and size.

The system is fully updated (with apt-get dist-upgrade). GTK+3 version is 3.10.8-0ubuntu1.1.

Attached two screenshots that show how GTK+2 apps (Xfce terminal) and GTK+3 apps (Synaptic, Transmission) look with the font set to bold and italic, respectively.

Still happens in Ubuntu MATE 15.10 (tested with Galculator, Shotwell, Synaptic).
