Bug Description

Binary package hint: synaptic

Not sure if this is a synaptic issue or a window manager issue:

When you click reload and Ubuntu starts downloading the new update files and your mouse is over the search button let's say. It is currently disabled while the new package files are being downloaded. When it is done and your mouse is still over that inactive search button which now is active since it is done, it is still unusable. You have to move your cursor off the button and back on for it to work. It almost seems like a general window manager issue that button status isn't rechecked when it's active status changes.

To reproduce open Synaptic, click reload, while it is reloading place your mouse cursor which is usually a wait animated icon over the search button. Leave it there. When the reload finishes the search button will look active again - if you try and click it though it won't work. You need to move the mouse off the button and then back on. The button also doesn't show it is being hovered over until you move out and back in as well.

I am on Feisty with all up current updates applied.
