The print preview faithfully show only those 5 pages and the remaining pages are indicated as blank.

The problem is caused by the GTK printing infrastructure (or perhaps by Cairo), as the problem shows already in the preview. Note that the preview is generated by GTK and not by CUPS and also not by the printer drivers.

Thank you for your bug report. The issue is an upstream one and it would be nice if somebody having it could send the bug the to the people writting the software (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/Upstream/GNOME)

Sebastien,

That link brought me nothing but frustration: What a confusing mess!!!

It said I already had an account which was news to me. I tried a few likely
passwords. It said some nonsense about them not resembling an email
address.

My bank is less obsessed with "security." Gnome is making a fool of itself
with all its unnecessary, self-important rituals. Are they afraid of
KDE saboteurs?
