can't close programs when inline search box is open

when a search box is open (for example in gedit the one with ctrl-k, or in nautilus the one that appears when you start typing inside a directory) the X botton has no effect, while minimize and maximize work.

Thank you for your bug report. The issue is an upstream one and it would be nice if somebody having it could send the bug the to the people writting the software (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/Upstream/GNOME)

Nicolò there is no need to tag every bug you open as an hundredpapercut though, that seems rather a small bug than an usuability issue, it's getting difficult to have an overview of those hundredpapercut if everybody start nominating all the bug he or she registers on launchpad...
