Bug Description
Binary package hint: gedit
Jaunty 64bits, up-to-date (Sep 4, 2009).
Open any text file. Choose "Save as". Change the character encoding (but not the file name).
Gedit will complain that the file exists, but display strange characters instead of the name
of the file. Snapshot attached.
