Bug Description

Ubuntu 8.10; Ubuntu Jaunty RC

1. In gnome-screenshot, choose "Take Screenshot".
2. From the "Save in folder:" menu, choose "Other...".
3. Select a folder and choose "Open".

What happens:
2. A "Select a folder" dialog appears, with only "Cancel" and "Open" commit buttons.
3. The folder does not open in the filepicker; instead, it is chosen for saving the screenshot.

What should happen:
2. The filepicker should contain a separate button for actually choosing the folder.
3. Choosing "Open" should open the folder in the filepicker, not close the dialog.

summary: - Main button in "Select a folder" dialog is wrongly labelled "Open"
+ In "Select a folder" dialog, "Open" doesn't open the folder

Would renaming the button to suggest that it validates the choice work too? I'm not sure an "open" button would be really useful there, user know how to select a directory and we go no complain about that until now

That's a good point. I'll present that as an alternative in the upstream bug report.
