Bug Description
Binary package hint: nautilus
When you open a directory in list view mode and type in the first few letters of a folder name, the line is selected of a folder that starts with that name. So far so good.
When you see a folder that you want to open or expand you click on it but the wrong one is opened (the top folder in your scrollist). Kind of annoying..
This bug wasn't there in the Nautilus version used in Ubuntu 8.04.
I use Gnome in Compiz mode but it's also there if you disable it.
Description: Ubuntu 8.10
Expected: That the folder I clicked on, to open.
Happened: The top folder is expanded.

Confirmed on 8.10, confirmed on 9.04 Beta. _This is annoying._
It works in 8.04.
I suppose this bug is not only nautilus but GTK-related. To reproduce:
Open gtk-demo (from package gtk2.0-examples) and open the Tree View -> Tree Store demo. Click into the list, type in 'a', click again and "February" collapses.
Regression: GTK used in Hardy: 2.12.9 - it worked.
