The gtk_file_chooser_get_filename function returned an absolute path in version 2.12.10-2ubuntu1 and before.
This changed with 2.13.3-0ubuntu1, it now returns the basename (see also revision 20342 [1]). This seems to have been unintentional, because it was changed back with revision 20393 [2].
As you probably can imagine, this breaks quite some applications (I noticed it with aptoncd, ccsm, gdecrypt, but I believe there a many more).
