I disagree. I often have trouble with the cursor disappearing - not right now, but other times - when I'm typing in Firefox. I also had trouble with the cursor jumping about because of the malfunctioning Alps touchpad. So the cursor would jump and change the insertion point for new text, etc. and I couldn't even see it!

Please, try to make sure the cursors ARE visible.
