Bug Description
Binary package hint: gthumb
If I open multiple selected images from file browser context menu (open with gthumb), even if the folder is selected, catalogs are displayed. If I need to show folder, I must switch to catalogs and switch back to folders.

If you select multiple files, gThumb is supposed to go into the catalog mode and show the "Command Line Catalog". That part of your report is "not a bug".
However, the Catalog/Folder buttons for switching modes do seem to be broken. This has been reported upstream as http:// bugzilla. gnome.org/ show_bug. cgi?id= 536428.
