Bug Description

As the attached screenshot shows, gthumb has no menu, which makes gthumb impossible to fully use, since various settings are only available via the menu.

The screenshot shows multiple thin black rectangles between the toolbar and the green "Persönlicher Ordner" line. which perhaps are some artifacts of the no-shon menu.

This bug seems to have come up multiple times already, but the previous solutions and workarounds do not work this time

The workaround is to press F11 twice, and then the topbar/menubar does show up, but it should be possible to show it on opening the application.

No, the workaround of "pressing F11 twice" does not work on my system.

I am using Pix now: "an image viewer and browser utility.Pix is part of the X-Apps project" It is a fork of gthumb
