Bug Description
On importing photos from my Canon Ixus 60 digi cam via the gnome photo import window, the checkbox rotate images does not take an effect.
In Feisty, the images were really rotated by the gnome photo import. Since Gusty, the image rotation does no longer work for me.
Procedure
1. Take two pictures with a digi cam that supports the image orientation: horizontal and vertical
2. Plug in your digi cam to Gusty
3. Download the images with checked "Save original filename" and "Rotate images"
4. Compare the real resolution of the two pictures, e.g. with identify from imagemagicks: identify *.JPG
The result should be something like this:
IMG_6082.JPG[1] JPEG - 2816x2112 - DirectClass 1.7mb 0.460u 0:02
IMG_6083.JPG[2] JPEG - 2816x2112 - DirectClass 1.4mb
While in Feisty the correct result would be:
IMG_6082.JPG[1] JPEG - 2816x2112 - DirectClass 1.7mb 0.460u 0:02
IMG_6083.JPG[2] JPEG - 2112x2816 - DirectClass 1.4mb

Have you used gThumb Image Viewer for that ?
