gst-plugin-scanner hangs, eating CPU time

Bug Description

Hi,

gst-plugin-scanner is eating 100% CPU time which leads to unusable Ubuntu. It appears couple of times daily.
(My guess is that it is causing by application firefox , skype , totem , nautilus ).

killall -9 gst-plugin-scanner
(but it appears again sometimes.)

Confirming after upgrade to 16.04 4.4.0-34-generic x86_64 just now.

Ubuntu 17.10, только что установленная. И тоже самое после обновления. gst-plugin-scanner (PID 3696) потребляет 100% процессорного времени, что приводит к зависанию Ubuntu.
Зависает после того как кликнешь в настройки. Это справа, вверху гаечный ключ с отвёрткой

The same problem with process gst-plugin-scanner: eating cpu (~100%)/system freezing (for about 10-15 seconds, when system starts). Fresh installation.
gstreamer1.0 - 1.14.1-1ubuntu1~ubuntu18.04.1
ubuntu 18.04.1 x86_64 4.15.0-33-generic (i7-7700HQ / NV GTX1050Ti / 16GB RAM)
