rhythymbox doesn't play cds (No URI handler implemented for "cdda")

Rhythymbox doesn't play audio cds in a clean installation.
Trying to play gives the message 'No URI handler implemented for "cdda"'
Even with the restricted extras installed, cds fail to play.
Totem also cannot play audio cds (or dvds for that matter... even with libdvdcss2)
Amarok14 is able play the cds fine, causing me to think it is something wrong with the gstreamer.

lgstcdda.so seems to be missing from the gstreamer package... I'm guessing that's the reason.

I actually have some relevant libraries here..

$ dpkg -L libgstreamer-plugins-base0.10-0 |grep cdda
/usr/lib/libgstcdda-0.10.so.0.18.0
/usr/lib/libgstcdda-0.10.so.0

Shouldn't those be enough for me to play audio CDs with?

I'm also affected. Rhythmbox/Totem/Banshee can't play CDDA. But Sound Juicer is able to do that...

@Martin Meyer, I think the libraries you mentioned are the problem. I did check the libraries in Ubuntu Karmic Alpha 5

Rhythymbox is able to play audio cds. Synaptic shows libgstreamer-plugin-base0.10-0 0.10.24-1.
If I only update this in Synaptic to libgstreamer-plugin-base0.10-0 0.10.24-3
