Movie Player using GStreamer 0.10.22

Some shockwave files do not play for me, either online with swfdec or when saved and played with totem.

Totem gives the message: An error occurred. Gstreamer encountered a general supporting library error.

This may be a duplicate of Bug #368763.

   Instead of totem, I use swfdec to play .swf's in firefox.

Swfdec (as a firefox plugin) shows it's starting to play. Nothing happens.
Gnash (playing downloaded file) a similar startup image. Again nothing happens.

Only Totem gave a distinct error message.
