Bug Description

Binary package hint: totem

watching a movie on Totem, if I fast fw a few minutes, the video will slow down, and never playback at correct speed.

"$ totem --debug" doesnt print anything, so it doesnt help much

yes it is reproducible.

with totem-xine the video playback works just fine

follows log from totem-xine-debug

you might want to get a gstreamer log before send it there, just run totem as: GST_DEBUG_NO_COLOR=1 GST_DEBUG=*:2 totem 2> log and attach the log to the upstream report.

did you try running it in a directory when you have write permission? it seems just you can't write there

tried also with totem-xine and got a different bug: audio gets out of sinc, but video playback is ok,
