Bug Description

Binary package hint: totem

Ubuntu 8.10 amd64
totem 2.24.2-0ubuntu4
using compiz fusion with a nvidia 8800gts graphics card

With the "GOOM: What a GOOM!" visualization size set to "Extra Large" in Totem preferences, there is a bright green line down the very right hand side of the visualization area. The line isn't present with the Normal or Large sizes. It persists in both windowed and fullscreen mode, but is more noticable in fullscreen mode.

I'll attach a screenshot.

Changed in totem:
importance: Undecided → Low

I can confirm that.
Intrepid amd64, nvidia 9600MGT(nvidia188.11)
totem 2.24.3-0ubuntu1
res: 1920x1080, with and without compiz

and i can confirm it with a other maschine:
Intrepid amd64, nvidia 9500GT(nvidia177.x.x)
same softwareconfig like above

Changed in gstreamer0.10:
status: New → Confirmed

again I can confirm this to be true

Intrepid
Linux 2.6.28-13-generic (i686)
2x Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU P8400 @ 2.26GHz,
GeForce 9600M GT/PCI/SSE2 (180.44)
2.26.1-0ubuntu5
res: 1920x1080, with and without compiz

I can confirm this in karmic alpha6.

Here in Totem 2.28.2 with Gstreamer 0.10.25 I didn't notice the green line, but playing a single mp3 in repeat mode, after 2nd time playing, the visualization freezes (only in normal mode, extra large seems ok and large I didn't test).

I can confirm this bug in a Updated Karmic.
@Bremm: I noticed the freezes too. Is there a bugreport?

Green strip in Extra large, Garbage in 'normal', no problem in Large.

Totem 2.30.2, GStreamer 0.30.2. on Ubuntu 10.04, Gnome 2.30 with NVidia ION chipset with NVidia drivers and Atom on x64.

Forgot to mention that it seems to happen with every visualisation, not only with GOOM

This bug is fixed for me in Maveric.
(now on Geforce GT 220M)
