Description: Ubuntu 16.04.5 LTS
Codename: xenial

For a day, when I play media with a browser (Youtube or Spotify on Firefox) or media player (VLC or Rhythmbox), I sometimes listen to faults like short repetitions 1/2 second (a syllable or a note, for example, are repeated ).

I have a dual boot with 18.04, the problem also appeared there. I had found an advice on disabling HPET in the BIOS, but there is no option.
So I tried to enable secure boot (I know it has nothing to do with it), but it seems to me that the error no longer occurs.
