Thanks for you report, may you try to run rhythmbox from the command line as: GST_DEBUG_NO_COLOR=1 GST_DEBUG=3 rhythmbox &>rhythmbox-debug.txt and attach that file to the report? thanks.

There's no useful infon in the debug log, can you try again? you have to reproduce your problem in order to be saved in the log file, thanks.

Experiencing this bug as well.

I'm using Ubuntu 7.10 x64 English. Using all drivers provided by Ubuntu itself and only use Ubuntu supported software.

Hope this gets fixed soon.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. The issue that you reported is one that should be reproducible with the live environment of the Desktop CD of the development release - Hardy Heron. It would help us greatly if you could test with it so we can work on getting it fixed in the next release of Ubuntu. You can find out more about the development release at http://www.ubuntu.com/testing/ . Thanks again and we appreciate your help.

Pedro, thanks for your reply. I will try and test with the Hardy Heron
development release. But, if I do this, I want to do it right: what
information will you need me to collect in order to fix the bug?

Thanks,

Joe

Error came up 3 times during this debug.

double-click radio to play
stops play, with error "Couldn't start playback - Internal data flow error."

Rinse and repeat.

Seems to occur at the end of songs (although onetime appeared to be midsong... possible coincidence)

I have a similar problem when playing OGG streams and after hunting around also came across this thread:

http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=320984

Apologies if I'm wrong, but this appears to be the same issue. The bug is solved (sorta), but involves using decodebin2 instead of decodebin (w/ crossfading) and when it becomes stable, playbin2 instead of playbin (w/out crossfading). GStreamer seems to use decodebin and playbin in Intrepid - my case.

Looking through your debug.txt posted above, I notice that you're still using decodebin rather than decodebin2 as well, which indicates that the solution hasn't made it's way into Jaunty yet.
