·What I expected to happen:
After unpausing a song, it should continue playing.

·What happened istead:
After pausing a song, Rhythmbox buttons continue to appear responsive, but won't resume it after unpausing. Then it hangs completely. Process must be killed in order to close the window, so it can be reopened later to continue listening to music. If paused then everything starts again.

I'd like to add, as a comment, that I tried completely purging the application, then installing it back again but anything has changed. The bug is still present.

Again me. I just reinstalled the system and noticed this bug only happens when playing M4A files. MP3 playback, pausing and unpausing behaves normally.

i get this on mp3 files that play fine on other devices , i have crossfading enabled.

it doesn't allways happen and usually only after i've been listening for a while , almost allways when auto-crossfade produces a nice mix but i want a reeeewind . i usually have to kill rhythmbox to get it to play again.

also any kind of seeking during crossfade triggers this , i used to be able to seek with the new track and 'drop' a track in
