Bug Description

Binary package hint: gscan2pdf

Screen goes black when panning scanned image in gscan2pdf with desktop effects enabled. After closing gscan2pdf, the lower 1/3 of the screen remained black.

This appears to be reproducible:

  * enable desktop effects
  * launch gscan2pdf
  * scan a document
  * use the magnify tool
  * attempt to pan the image with click+drag
  * observer black screen and strange image artefacts
