Bug Description
With the "99" updates I downloaded yesterday, grub ceased to pay any attention to Startup Manager's settings again. It always defaults to the first item in the list now. This was working correctly until the updates I downloaded 8 days ago. Please leave comments in the source code for someone to quit breaking this.

Can we please get repairs pushed out with updates, as we got this bug pushed out with updates? If this was an attempt to thwart a virus attack, what would keep the virus from placing itself first in the configuration file... if it had already gained access?
