Bug Description
Binary package hint: grub2
I originally upgraded to Ubuntu 11.04 from 10.10. After this upgrade, when I restarted, the grub menu did not display. It turned out that the geuyb menu was active, and I was able to use the up-down arrows to "select" an OS to boot into. I later performed a fresh install of 11.04 on a different partition. Again, the grub menu did not display upon restart. In the file /etc/defauylt/grub, I uncommented the line GRUB_GFXMODE=
1. lsb_release -rd
Description: Ubuntu 11.04
Release: 11.04
2. apt-cache policy grub-pc
grub-pc:
Installed: 1.99~rc1-13ubuntu3
Candidate: 1.99~rc1-13ubuntu3
Version table:
*** 1.99~rc1-13ubuntu3 0

100 /var/lib/
3. When I either upgrade or do a fresh install of Ubuntuy 11.04, I expect that the grub menu will display after reboot because I have more than one OS on my PC.
4. When I either upgrade or do a fresh install of Ubuntu 11.04, the grub menu did not display after restart.
