Bug Description
Binary package hint: grub2
System: Ubuntu 10.10
LANG=fr_FR.utf8
Source package: language-
Source file: data/fr/
The following line doesn't exist in grub.po and thus can be translated (so at the end "Ubuntu, with Linux 2.6.35-22-generic" is not translated):
msgid "%s, with Linux %s"
The text was translated in Ubuntu 10.04 but it is not translated anymore.
I've look for this line at translations.

I used https:/ /translations. launchpad. net/ubuntu/ maverick/ +source/ grub2/+ pots/grub/ fr/+export to get an other .po file for grub. In the file I can see (at line 1283) the following line:
#~ msgid "%s, with Linux %s"
What is the meaning of "#~" (which is different from "#:" I guess) and why such a line does not exist in the file extracted from language- pack-fr- base source package ?
