Bug Description
Problem:
The 10.10 server RC cd does not boot on my IBM x3650 M2 server.
How to reproduce:
Burn the Maverick amd64 server Release Candidate image to a CD. Insert the cd on the cd-rom drive of a IBM x3650 M2, boot the server from the cd.
A black grub window will show up, instead of the ubuntu language choice menu. Clicking on the "install" option will display the message "error: cannot allocate protected mode pages" "you need to load the kernel first" (screenshots attached)
Further information:
The 10.04 server cd worked fine on this machine when I took the same steps.
I booted a desktop with the same cd and checked it for defects. No problems found.
I checked the md5sum of the image

Problem remains after release. Even tried installing 10.4 and running "do-release-upgrade -d", which works fine until I try to reboot.
