Bug Description
Binary package hint: grub2
I updated from Ubuntu 10.04 to Ubuntu 10.10. During the update process, there were errors with grub, something like:
>Generating grub.cfg...
>Segmentation fault (core dumped)
After the update process and before rebooting, I tried to update grub in a terminal:
sudo update-grub
but the same errors occurred. So I manually created the file /boot/grub/
hd0) /dev/sda
then I done:
sudo update-grub
without any errors. I successfully rebooted, but there was this error notification in my systray.
