Do you have a screenshot? How did you install this, with which options, language, partitioning schema, architecture, etc.? Please also attach the logs in /var/log/installer/. Since you can't boot the installation, you can boot the live system, sudo mount /dev/sda1 /mnt, and get them from /mnt/var/log/installer/.

Yes, sorry for incomplete but this morning was too late 'cause i start working at 7 o'clock

I've tried another two different installations (one whole disk, other auto resize) on two different disks.
in two cases i've got the out of disk error, in one another i've got a UUID not found error.
Every three times i have grub errors
The image tested is 20100630.2 (md5sums matchs on downloaded image and burned CD) Ubuntu amd64 on phisical hardware.
Language English
keymap italy
installation on autoresize mode (guided) by default (nothings changed) cause UUID error

The disk selected for install whole is sdb and return out of disk error
Now i try rewrite grub on sdb mbr and launch it

Just now i see another error,
In /dev/sdc6 i have another installation but grub don't see it.

root@ubuntu:/# update-grub

I've one disk (sdb) with MBR problems.
