Bug Description
Binary package hint: grub2
Before showing the menu, grub shows 30 seconds of black screen. I cannot interrupt by pressing either Shift or ESC. (I'm not aware of any relevant boot-related keys.) While waiting, there is no harddrive activity.
I have two Ubuntu lucid installations. (Plus the ram test.)
I have tried setting all TIMEOUTs in /etc/grub/default to 0, but this did not have any effect on the pre-menu delay.
