2009-11-22 01:33:26 null description Binary package hint: grub2 This bug is one of the most annoying I've ever run into. There is a work around that I found on Ubuntu. However obviously nothing has been done to fix this problem; so I'm reporting it today so it can be fixed soon :) This bug is ALWAYS repeatable. If you want to confirm it install Windows 7 (Vista will work) update grub and reboot. Windows will try to start and it'll fail. NO THE GRUB2 WORKAROUND LISTED IN THE WIKI DOES NOT WORK! Reinstall grub add that entry to 40_custom. Update-grub. Then reboot and choose the custom boot menu and Windows 7 will reboot fine. However it booting up fine only occurs one time.
