Bug Description

Binary package hint: grub2

Ubuntu 9.10
grub2 1.97 beta4
I expected the menu to either not appear at all or to only appear for a second or two.
Instead it lasted over 40 minutes. I turned on the computer and walked downstairs for 40 minutes. Every time since then it's the same thing. If I hit the enter key then it boot up as it should.

Similar to bug # 462888, which was fixed

by a clean install of Karmic 9.10 official release.

(beta version was of course deleted)

I will nominate for release.

BavarianPH,

Ubuntu forever!
