due to issues with the xserver i use the karmic alpha 5 alternate cd to install it. im duel booting on a macbook pro using boot camp. when it comes to installing grub2 if i dont specify the efi partition it fails to install. that in turn makes boot cam unable to see the partition when choosing which partition to boot on . |
due to issues with the xserver i use the karmic alpha 5 alternate cd to install it. im duel booting on a macbook pro using boot camp. when it comes to installing grub2 if i dont specify the efi partition it fails to install. that in turn makes boot cam unable to see the partition when choosing which partition to boot on. the installation fails to install by throwing an error message complaining about the location that its trying to install on. |
