Problem with CD-ROM not working on Lenovo 3000 N200 continues with Ubuntu 12.04 LTS release.

CD-ROM works during install but when rebooted after install is complete the CD-ROM no longer works.

Disabling acpi makes the CD-ROM work but this is not a viable work-around as damage and occur with overheating etc.

Any ideas to fix this yet anyone, please.
