Bug Description
Running 21.04 on a thinkpad x230.
There is a shim error https:/
So Grub works, the menu works (you can still use the arrowkeys if you know the menu order) but it doesnt show the menu but this errormessage. The System boots up fine.
I was told to file a new bug for grub. This shim error is not going to be resolved so we need another workaround on the grub side so people can again access their grub menu when they need to, like when they have other issues and need to use the recovery entries or a dualboot.

Currently working on resolving the very issue in shim.
Though on second thought, maybe it needs some investigating as to why the menu isn't showing but operational, because clearly that shouldn't happen either.
