grub-install: error: failed to register the EFI boot entry: Operation not permitted

Was installing Ubuntu from a USB memory stick. Chose option to retain an existing Windows 10 partition and choose Ubuntu or Win at start-up. Partition size set to 250GB for Win and 250GB for Ubuntu.
